About House of Sedge and Bee

My name is Melissa Lynnette and I’m a freelance seamstress living in Las Vegas. I’m originally from the Kansas City area where I went to school for fashion design and art history and discovered my love of dramatic costumes and historical clothing. While there, I participated in the student fashion show twice and had internships as an industrial seamstress and an assistant costumer with local companies. Since then, I’ve made dozens of costumes and other pieces, as well as making and selling handmade crafts along with my best friend.
